This is just a quick message to welcome you to Sitting Around, a site for meditators practising in the traditions taught at Gaia House.

This site aims to be a community in the broadest sense. It is free and secure to register, and once registered you can contribute to the life of the community. To register, click on the link at the top right of the screen (the one that says "register"!) and follow the instructions. You will be sent an e-mail after registration with a link that you must click to confirm that you have registered.

A few of the things on the site to which registered members can contribute are:

• Forums - to talk to your fellow practitioners
• News - for the submission of news relating to sitting practice groups.
• Events Calendar - for one-off events such as day retreats.
• Weblinks - to link to your favourite dharma sites.

Once you are registered you can also set up notificiations, so you can be e-mailed whenever anything new is added to the site.
